Key findings
The CNCDH describes the extremely alarming situation of migrants in transit present in the commune of Grande-Synthe, where the pragmatic and courageous initiative taken by the mayor to establish a provisional camp in conformity with humane standards with the assistance of Doctors without Borders (MSF) ran the risk of being called into question by the prefecture of Nord for reasons of safety. The CNCDH made a series of recommendations.
